Site Visits- Teams participate in a preventative injury program. Dr. Goldstein visits your team site, and with the consent of parents, athletes are seen during practice at the coaches discretion. Often reassurance, simple advice, and follow up is all that is necessary - with continued participation of sport recommended. |
wellbody has no financial incentive, voting ability, or policy making in the business or contracts made between teams and their athletes, customers, or partners. There is no financial transaction between wellbody and the owners, coaches, athletes, or booster clubs for wellbody's services or the relationship between wellbody and the teams. (Optional lectures and classes may have a fee that is explained at the time of the specific event) wellbody is an independent service that is not an employee, agent, partner, or owner of any of the teams. Although wellbody does not involve itself in the policy making or philosophy of the individual teams- each of the team's owners have discussed their philosophy with Dr. Goldstein before wellbody involvement. There is no absolute guarantee that any premier level sport is free from injury or risk. Each athlete and parent should carefully evaluate their goals and expectations before making a commitment to any team. wellbody assists teams in preventative injury care and healthy options during sport- but does not guarantee any sport or team is injury free, risk free, or the best choice for your child. wellbody does believe that the participating teams offer premier level sports in an ethical, fun environment. Careful evaluation is made to see that wellbody's philosophy continues to support each team's philosophy before continued participation. There is no contract or obligation for wellbody to continue its services with any club or team. Individual athletes receiving care from Dr. Goldstein have a patient/physician relationship following the policies of the Kansas Board of Healing Arts. |

In the privacy of the office setting, parents and athletes find the diagnosis of injury or illness; treatment, and recommendations for continued participation in their sport. It is always suggested that a consent is signed to allow communication between the coach and physician. If Dr. Goldstein believes a specialist is needed, wellbody attempts to refer to the most sports friendly, qualified expert in the area. |
